COTTAGE MORNING MULE
A mule style non-alcoholic drink using our delicious, all Australian grown breakfast style black tea, Cottage Morning. Play with the depth of flavours by using an herbal infused simple syrup, or exploring different ginger beer profiles, whether you like them sweet or spicy you can find some tasty Australian made options to compliment this refreshing mocktail.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED//
60ml brewed Cottage Morning
20ml freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 teaspoon simple syrup (or to taste)
90ml ginger beer
Fresh mint sprigs to garnish
MAKING YOUR MOCKTAIL//
Brew your Cottage Morning tea strong - steeping 3-4 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea in 250ml of boiling water for five minutes. Strain and allow to cool. If you prefer, you can add 3-4 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea to 250ml cold water and put in the fridge overnight to cold infuse then strain.
Add simple syrup, lime juice, and chilled Cottage Morning to chilled glass or copper mule mug.
Stir to combine.
Fill with ice. Top with ginger beer and gently stir.
Garnish with fresh young mint leaf sprig tips.
